Thoughts of René

Père Lachaise Cemetery in the 11th Arrondissement of Paris is the final resting place of a number of very well known figures, include Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, Jim Morrison, Chopin and Bizet… and also home to some beautiful structures.

This building with its clean elegant lines, and the clouds and sky framed through the arches, just somehow made me think of a René Magritte painting… where he frequently used clouds and sky as a backdrop or as a detail in his work.
