In the City of Lights
This dramatic abstract was taken during one of the delights of Paris: an evening boat trip down the River Seine towards the Eiffel Tower.
On these trips you’ll pass under several bridges that you crossed during the day, while exploring everything you love about Paris. I found each bridge to be an architectural masterpiece.
The construction of the Pont Alexandre III bridge is a marvel of 19th century engineering and is one of the most intricately designed bridges in Paris, with gilt-bronze statues and nymphs at the center of the arches, which can be seen best from the river looking up.
This image of the bridge was created with the combination of slow shutter speed and the reflection coming off the gilt statues.
