Nets and Knots 1

While on a visit to South Africa, I stopped by the Hout Bay harbor near Cape Town for lunch.

The quayside in the harbor was fascinating… Seals yawning and basking in the sun, and row upon row of lobster traps, waiting to go out on the fishing boats.

I was drawn to the colorful interwoven threads and the abstract visual they created.
