Seine Steps

There are many staircases along the length of the Seine river in Paris, giving locals and tourists access to the magic and history the river has to offer.

While sitting on the banks of the river, waiting to take an evening boat trip towards the Eiffel Tower, I was fascinated by the details and hidden history on the embankments, hidden in the walls.

That is where I captured this image of what appeared to be stairs, but was simply an architectural fancy, built into the wall. It made for a fascinating abstract detail image.
